EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW
(But Are Afraid to Ask)

Ever wonder what exactly the PTO does?  You’re not alone. Below are some answers to our most frequently asked questions.

What does it mean to join the PTO?
It means you make a single $50 contribution per family for the year. No other commitments.

My schedule is full enough already. Aren’t there meetings to attend?
Yes, we have wonderful meetings full of great information and helpful news you can use to make your kids’ experience here at our schools even better!  But while we’d love to have you join us, attendance at meetings is not a requirement.

What exactly does the PTO do with my $50?
The PTO uses the funds it collects through dues and fundraisers to sponsor various items and events that enrich the academic life of the kids at all four of our schools. Membership dues have been used to fund field trips, subscriptions to educational publications for classroom use, outreach programs with the Cincinnati Museum Center, digital cameras, an LCD projector, and much, much more! I’ve already joined PTO.  How else can I help our schools?
Volunteer! Even just one hour of your time donated to our schools through PTO events or activities makes a difference. Ask our principals. They will tell you, the parents who volunteer even just a little time help make our schools as extraordinary as they are.

What are some of the ways I can volunteer?
Each weekly eBlast is full of opportunities to get involved with your kids’ schools.  Keep reading to learn about what we have going on this month!
