PTO District Meeting Update

Please join us for our next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday November 2nd!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our first general meeting last week! Our meetings are open to the entire community and are a great opportunity to meet with school administrators, PTO leaders and parents in our district.

We hope you join us in November and take advantage of a great opportunity to connect in person.

If you couldn't attend, here is what you need to know:

Construction Update from Jim Nichols
  • IHHS – There is a new bus lot at IHHS; it is now much safer for the students when walking to/from the buses. The new island will be coming later this month.
  • IHMS and IHHS – The framing for the connector between the MS & HS is going up. Students will no longer have to go outside when transferring between schools.

  • IHMS and IHHS – The entire parking lot project is estimated to be completed by the end of October 2022.

  • IHES – The new car rider loop is completed and the new parking lot will be built with the new Art Center in the back of the building and the playground.

  • IHPS – The front entrance construction will continue through the entire 2022-2023 academic year. There are brand new restrooms at the main entrance, as well as new offices for interventionists/therapists.

Our next meeting is on Oct. 12th at 6:30pm at the High school MP room. We will be talking about the global dinner that will take place at the High School Cafeteria on Nov. 11th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Indian Hill Global Parents Group explores and celebrates the many cultures represented in Indian Hill School District.  GPG connects our families by hosting social events throughout the school year.

The group is open to parents of all cultures and origin.

  • GPG is part of our school PTO
  • Our potluck dinner is an event for the entire family
  • GPG hosts coffee socials once a month
  • GPG helps organize International Fairs at the PS, ES & MS buildings, educating children about different cultures.

We have some new families joining us this year and want to welcome all of those families to the best school district in Cincinnati!

Send us your email address if you would like to receive notifications for our coffees. Let us know if you would like to host a coffee and/or help with the Global Parents Potluck Dinner

Looking Ahead...
Save the Date - Trivia on the Hill is Back!

Mark your calendars, Trivia on the Hill will be the evening of Saturday, January 21st. The last Trivia on the Hill was in 2020 just prior to the pandemic. We had a fun camping theme and raised funds for Capital Grants for all four buildings. It is finally time to bring the JOY back! This is a great event for parents to get together over some healthy trivia competition. We are working to finalize the location but save the date for a fun night out for a great cause!
