September 2022 News

We are now three weeks into what will be a great school year at Indian Hill!

We had a great first PTO District meeting Wednesday night. The Principals and Directors shared updates on what is happening at each of the schools, and Mr. Nichols shared status of the construction and what to look for next around each of our buildings. Mr. Koennecke discussed progress they are making against the strategic plan, and the JOY that everyone is encouraged to bring back to our schools.

We would love for you to join us next time -- mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 2nd.

We are well underway with our events and programs. Special thanks to Elaine Skeldon and Mandy Longbottom for organizing a tasty teacher welcome back lunch.

With appreciation,

Heather Bennett

Looking Ahead...
Save the Date - Trivia on the Hill is Back!

Mark your calendars, Trivia on the Hill will be the evening of Saturday, January 21st. The last Trivia on the Hill was in 2020 just prior to the pandemic. We had a fun camping theme and raised funds for Capital Grants for all four buildings. It is finally time to bring the JOY back! This is a great event for parents to get together over some healthy trivia competition. We are working to finalize the location but save the date for a fun night out for a great cause!

Global Parents Group Update

The Indian Hill Global Parents Group explores and celebrates the many cultures represented in Indian Hill School District.  GPG connects our families by hosting social events throughout the school year.

The group is open to parents of all cultures and origin.

  • GPG is part of our school PTO
  • Our potluck dinner is an event for the entire family
  • GPG hosts coffee socials once a month
  • GPG helps organize International Fairs at the PS, ES & MS buildings, educating children about different cultures.

We have some new families joining us this year and want to welcome all of those families to the best school district in Cincinnati!

Send us your email address if you would like to receive notifications for our coffees. Let us know if you would like to host a coffee and/or help with the Global Parents Potluck Dinner
