IH students will develop a better understanding of diverse cultures and celebrate their uniqueness together. During Global Cultural Week, through participation in a variety of engaging activities, students will be encouraged to open their minds and look at things in new ways.
This year the Global Fair will be held at the primary school, following district COVID protocols and is only open to parent volunteers, staff and students.
All schools will participate in the planned activities for Cultural Week. We need volunteers who can represent a country at the Fair on Friday but we also need volunteers to decorate the hallways of each building for the Global Week and to help release our fair volunteers for short breaks or lunch.
Some of the countries represented by members of our community include: China, Costa Rica, Hungary, Turkey, India, Israel, Canada, Egypt, Mexico, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Poland and Italy,
We would love to have volunteers represent for the following countries: United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, France and Brazil.
